One of La Trobe University’s newest and fastest growing business courses has achieved a world ranking just two years after it was launched.
La Trobe’s Master of Business Analytics has been named in the 2019 QS global rankings of best post-graduate business analytics course providers.
La Trobe Program Director for Business Analytics, Associate Professor Kok-Leong Ong said it was an incredible achievement for a new course to be recognised so soon after opening its doors to students.
“Almost 200 domestic and international students have enrolled in our Masters of Business Analytics course since we launched in 2016 and enrolments continue to grow,” Associate Professor Ong said.
“The course was designed in direct response to a growing need from industry for graduates who are career ready.
“Modern businesses are operating in the digital world with masses of data at their disposal and urgently need people who can to help them unravel and use all of this information.”
The QS Master of Business Analytics world rankings includes 75 global universities from 17 countries. La Trobe was one of only two Australian universities included in the list.
