Ravenrock Gin, which is distilled in Dundalk was awarded a silver medal in the the World Gin Awards for 2023.
he gin, which was is made in the Dundalk Bay Brewery and Distillery, won the silver award in the signature botanical gin category for Ireland.
Developed in 2018, Ravenrock Gin is infused with a local blend of rowan berries and wild foraged organic heather from the Cooley Mountains.
It is distilled in a specially made Irish copper pot still manufactured by sister company Spectac and then filtered through natural Silurian aged sandstone rich in minerals from the Irish Sea.
It is one of two spirits produced in Dundalk Bay Brewery and Distillery – the other being Ravenrock Vodka.
The family-owned business is the largest automated brewery and distillery in Ireland, employing twenty people.
Alongside the spirits, Dundalk Bay produces an award-winning range of Brewmaster beers including IPA, ales, lager, stout and non-alcoholic and gluten-free beers.
