JoneR Pro supports 57 regional accents
Babel Technology, a Beijing-based high-tech company operating in the AI field, has rolled out its next-generation proprietary WiFi translator, JoneR Pro, worldwide.
JoneR Translator, developed by Babel Technology in concert with the Center for Speech and Language Technologies (CSLT), Tsinghua University, is the world’s first AI screen-smart translator. The product quickly claimed the top spot on the top 10 translator brands list after an evaluation by industry experts.
As the 2.0 version of the JoneR Translator, JoneR Pro looks and feels like a smartphone with rich business functionalities. In addition to the TZ deep learning algorithm, TZ neural network algorithm and 4-mic linear array system, JoneR Pro also leads in providing one-stop services for users travelling abroad who need language translation, global internet access and audio guides for popular travel destinations.
JoneR Pro supports two-way translation between 45 language pairs, among them, Chinese, English, French, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Thai, as well as 57 regional accents. JoneR Pro is recognized as a Global Translator for the 97% rate of accuracy of its two-way translation between Chinese and English. In addition, the communications device also provides offline two-way translation between Chinese and English, Japanese, Korean and Russian for users to converse in areas without internet access.
The technology highlights of JoneR Pro include translation of text captured by the camera in 15 languages, using optical character recognition (OCR) to translate menus, road signs, or anything with text on it. With the exclusive flashlight feature, the OCR function works just as effectively at night and in poorly-lit environments.
Notably, JoneR Pro provides innovative and practical auxiliary functionalities by leveraging AI object recognition technology: just point the camera at an object and the user will be presented with encyclopedic knowledge concerning the object. As an AI personal assistant, point the device at a sign indicating the name of a locale to receive navigation instructions and the locale’s current weather conditions, or hover over a foreign banknote to obtain the current exchange rate.
JoneR Pro aims to address the challenge of cross-linguistic communication, providing a better experience for users travelling abroad with easy-to-use translation, internet access and travel guide services.
