London, United Kingdom, (9th January, 2012) – Barber Design, a leading contemporary retail interior design agency, has developed a complete brand identity for a new Oxfordshire-based delicatessen brand.
Barber Design was approached by the passionate team behind the initial idea for Umami, who were planning to open an authentic delicatessen in Wantage near Oxford. They asked the leading retail design agency to create a full brand identity and communication package, and design a retail environment in line with the brand name they had chosen.
Barber Design ensured that they worked closely with their new client as part of their efforts to ensure that the Umami team’s requirements were being met and their ideas taken on board. The end result was a warm, friendly and inviting brand and retail interior that reflected the Umami team’s passion for food.
A spokesperson for Barber Design commented: “We were delighted to have been given the opportunity to conduct such an exciting project and contribute to the Umami brand’s initial launch. Our team created the retail design with the intention of the concept being rolled out at further locations in the future, and we are excited to see how this brand will develop during 2012.”
