Well-known businessman and horse owner Conor Clarkson has gone on trial charged with the forgery of signatures on various documents connected to a land deal he was involved in.
Mr Clarkson (60), a property developer who owned 2005 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Kicking King, is accused of forging and later using papers and which had the effect of improving the right of way to a valuable property in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, that he was selling to a pension fund.
