Wearable technology is the big trend for 2014 and it is only going to get bigger. The China Hi-Tech Fair 2014 (CHTF 2014), to be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from November 16–21, will launch a special wearable technology area, which includes various types of wearable devices, such as glasses, watches, contact lenses, bracelets and hearing aid devices. This area will create an authoritative platform for exhibiting intelligent wearable devices, while showing the latest products and conveying technological information to audiences.
Wearable technology has influenced many fields such as health, fitness and entertainment and a large number of intelligent wearable device manufacturers will exhibit their latest products. For example, SWISSGEAR SARL and UMEOX will both exhibit their intelligent wearable watches, Fitbit will show its Flex sleep wristband, Andon its wrist blood pressure monitor, Bosma its intelligent wristband and intelligent sport glasses, CNVSYSTEMS its wearable wristband and watch and Voxtech will showcase its bone-conduction earphone in Hall 1. All visitors can not only appreciate the advanced technological products at that time, but also experience the devices themselves.
Meanwhile, a wearable technology professional conference and a smart home conference will be held in the special area, which will analyze and predict future trends in the wearable technology industry.
