Billionaire secured control of the facility in 2014 for €35m and will sell to Australian firm
The Beacon Hospital in Dublin. Denis O’Brien and associates bought the hospital in 2014
Businessman Denis O’Brien has agreed to sell the private Beacon Hospital in south Dublin for a huge return on his original investment in the venture.
With Australia’s Macquarie Asset Management having agreed to pay what is understood to be between €400m and €500m for the hospital, it marks a significant boost for Mr O’Brien just weeks after he relinquished control of his highly indebted Digicel mobile empire.
