As a Company whose purpose is to make the world healthier and happier, global nutrition company, Herbalife Nutrition, has concluded the Asia Pacific Extravaganza, its annual education and training event for its North Asia member community. Held from June 8 to 10 in Bangkok, Thailand, the event saw Herbalife Nutrition rally more than 7,000 independent members to be the difference in each of their local communities by inspiring the people around them to take steps towards positive nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
Over 7,000 Herbalife Nutrition independent members from North Asian markets gather at the Extravaganza event to equip themselves with the knowledge and tools to build a healthier and happier community.
Herbalife Nutrition’s Asia Pacific Extravaganza themed “Be The Difference,” focused on providing North Asia members with the knowledge and tools to build a healthier community around them by adopting a personalized, face-to-face approach to customize specific nutrition programs for each individual. Through a series of keynote speeches delivered by the Company’s senior leadership, members of Herbalife Nutrition are instilled with a clear sense of purpose to go beyond their roles to inspire the people around them to cultivate positive nutrition and active living habits.
“Global megatrends such as high obesity rates, rapidly aging populations and rising public healthcare costs have a significant impact on the region; with aging populations being more prevalent in North Asian markets such as Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea and Taiwan, there is a crucial need for us to help address this issue through our nutrition products and trained members,” said Stephen Conchie, senior vice president and managing director, Herbalife Nutrition Asia Pacific. “Following the training at the Extravaganza, our members are better equipped with the solid knowledge to provide their customers with effective personalized solutions to their nutrition and wellness goals, and make a real difference in helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.”
A key highlight of the event was the keynote speech by Rich Goudis, CEO of Herbalife Nutrition, who delivered an inspiring address that painted a clear picture for the North Asia member base to understand their role in making the world healthier and happier. This was followed by Dr Rocio Medina, vice chairwoman of Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board, who led a hands-on training session on personalized nutrition and the importance of adopting positive nutrition habits for long-term wellness.
