Anti-immigrant groups are photoshopping news headlines to suggest certain buildings are earmarked for asylum-seekers, increasing their risk of being targeted in arson attacks.
Last Friday, the Galway Beo website published a story about a survey of Galway’s eyesores. One of the buildings mentioned in the article was the old Eircom building on Monivea Road, alongside a photograph of the building.
