In April, Shanghai Aerospace Automobile Electromechanical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HT-SAAE”) signed an agreement with Japanese partner on supplying 8 MW N-type Pert mono-crystalline bifacial PV modules for their Gunma project. The product to be provided for Gunma PV project is “Milky Way” — the bifacial N-type Pert Mono-crystalline PV module, which was just released in this February during Japan’s PV EXPO 2015 tradeshow. Milky Way has received widespread attention from the industry since its first global launch in the Japanese market. It is worth mentioning that HT-SAAE just supplied 260 KW PV modules of the same type to the Gunma photovoltaic project.CTO of HT-SAAE Zhang Zhongwei commented, “The research and development of N-type mono-crystalline PV module and high-efficiency poly-crystalline PV module are the two major industrial trends for the future. HT-SAAE’s research outcome in N-Type mono-crystalline field is quite avant-garde, which makes HT-SAAE one of the tier 1 high end product suppliers. The frontage output power for Milky Way (156mm*156mm 60 cells) can reach 285W, whilst the dual-side output power can exceed the regular P type PV products by 10%-30%, depending on different surfaces. Milky Way can effectively reduce the occupied area, the BOS cost and furthermore decrease the LCOE (levelized cost of electricity).”
Clients from all over the world have been showing great interest in the N-type Pert Bifacial Mono-crystalline PV modules ever since its debut in Japan at the end of February. The successful supply for Gunma photovoltaic project demonstrates the substantial recognition from the market. At the SNEC (2015) International Photovoltaic Power Generation Conference & Exhibition to be held at the end of April, HT-SAAE will share its milestone innovative achievement with visitors from all over the world.
