NEC Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (NEC APAC) and LAC Co., Ltd. (LAC) today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance to promote cybersecurity in the Asia Pacific region.
A direct result of this partnership is the introduction of a fully automated managed security service targeted at small and medium enterprises (SME) in 2019. Delivered directly from the cloud, this low-cost and scalable managed security solution provides round-the-clock monitoring and surveillance of IT infrastructure, including enterprise level firewall and IDS/IPS, at an OPEX pricing model.
In addition, both companies will jointly offer a hands-on training service to help customers improve cybersecurity awareness in organizations and equip in-house cybersecurity experts with necessary skills and capabilities, such as malware analysis, incident response, intrusion detection, digital forensics and vulnerability assessment.
This partnership also allows NEC APAC to reinforce its existing Security Operation Centre (SOC) capabilities with LAC’s market-leading cyber threat intelligence and dedicated team of analysts to offer comprehensive incident response services for customers in Asia Pacific.
