London, United Kingdom (25th October 2012) – St George International, a globally recognised language training organisation, are now offering the chance to take the Pearson Test of English exam and related course.
The PTE academic course is recognised by British Universities and the British immigration authorities (UKBA) and is designed to improve English skills with a particular focus on academic writing and communication skills. It is for all students from pre-intermediate to upper-intermediate level. The course is offered throughout the year to help you prepare for the PTE academic test.
The PTE academic test is widely accepted by many organisations, with over 95% of universities and colleges in the UK recognising it. It is also recognised by the UK Border Agency for Tier 4 (student visa) applications. It can be booked at short notice, with only 48 hours’ notice required. Students will typically find out their results within five working days.
The exam is split into three sections – speaking & writing, reading, and listening – and aims to provide a true representation of students’ academic English skills which are required to succeed in higher education.
Josh Round, Director of Studies at St George International, commented: “We are delighted to be able to offer students the chance to take the PTE academic test, as well as the related PTE course. It is highly regarded within organisations across the UK, and can be used by students wanting to obtain a visa. It is a superb way of testing your academic English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, allowing a broad assessment of a student’s skillset. This test has helped many students secure a place in higher education so is well worth investigating for those wanting a qualification to prove their English competency.”
