Leading enterprises from China and around the globe will soon flock to Guangzhou for the 117th Canton Fair, which runs from April 15 through to May 5, 2015. Reasons to attend China’s most profitable and prestigious trade event — which twice a year generates business worth billions of dollars — have always been compelling, but this time round there’s an eye-catching extra incentive for new buyers to make the journey.
The Advertisement Reward for New Buyers (ARNB) program was first launched at the 116th Canton Fair in the second half of 2014. This time round it’s been expanded to attract new buyers from the United States (U.S.), the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Russia and Poland. With the US$100 coupon on offer redeemable for cash, food or a wide variety of services, the benefits are wide-ranging, easily claimable and sure to further improve the whole Canton Fair experience.
Last year’s successful roll-out of the ARNB Program, which was limited to new buyers from the U.S., attracted over 215 new attendees, many of whom were clearly delighted with their reward.
“I never thought I would win a big prize,’ said happy American and Fair first timer Harry. “I will definitely recommend the Canton Fair to all my friends when I return home.”
To enrol in the ARNB program, prospective first time buyers simply click on the relevant advertisement on the Canton Fair website. They then receive an e-mail detailing the services for which the program coupon can be used. Coupons — which can either be redeemed in advance or during the Fair itself — are redeemable against hotel bookings, car rentals, interpretation services, provincial tours and lunches, and can also be exchanged for cash.
One thing’s for sure, many program participants are likely to view their US$100 coupon as the cherry on a very large cake.
“I heard a lot of things about the Canton Fair before I came here,” said Harry, as he was interviewed by the event’s Facebook team. “The ARNB program, together with the excellence of the event, means I was doubly rewarded. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
