Pennsylvania, US (31st July, 2013) – The Cable Company, a leading provider of speciality audio cables and high-performance sound equipment, has taken stock of the last remaining Shunyata Research Diamondback Platinum power cords.
The Cable Company’s Diamondback Platinum power cords are high-current, flexible, and shielded, with higher capability of delivering a full 20A current to a power conditioner or amplifier with a compatible 20A IEC socket. These cords have been replaced on the market by Shunyata’s new Venom series, and were originally based on the popular Taipan—one of their most well-received models. The Cable Company is selling the last of these power cords at almost one quarter the standard cost of the Taipan, while stocks last.
Alongside the reduced price, The Cable Company is offering the Diamondback Platinum cables at $100 when purchased with the new Shunyata Research Venom PS8 Power Distributor. This is an outlet extension box/AC line conditioner, finished in a brushed stainless steel chassis with a slender 4” profile; its design features 8 cryogenically-treated outlets mounted on top to offer greater convenience when used in smaller spaces. The Venom PS8 can be used in three ways: as a streamlined home theatre conditioner; a budget power conditioner for a 2-channel audio system; or a distribution system for a power conditioner without enough outlets.
“Our new offer allows customers to take advantage of our good luck in being able to take stock of the last Shunyata Research Diamondback Platinum power cords, and we’d advise everyone to order soon to avoid disappointment,” said Robert Stein of The Cable Company. “The PS8 is a great all-round product: it’s affordable and encompasses the latest technology from one of the world’s top manufacturers.”
