Eurail Pass savings and extra travel day promotions provide even more incentive to experience the best of Europe by railUntil the end of the year Eurail is offering customers 20 percent off the regular price of Eurail Global and Select Passes, and one free extra travel day for travellers who purchase a Eurail Regional or One Country Pass. Applicable for the full suite of Eurail Pass types, the promotional Passes are available until 31 December, 2015.
“We’ve seen the popularity of travelling in the off-peak travel season increase as more and more international travellers catch on to the benefits of travelling throughout Europe once the summer crowds have returned home,” says Silvia Gorlach, Eurail Group’s Sales and Marketing Manager.
“Europe in the autumn and winter months is an attractive and affordable experience. Not only can our Eurail customers access unlimited rail travel throughout Europe with a 20 percent saving or free travel day, but they can also take advantage of reduced airfares to Europe, cheaper accommodation rates, and shorter queues for popular attractions,” adds Ms. Gorlach.
During the cooler months, Europe still has plenty to offer. With a thriving and welcoming atmosphere, destinations across Europe provide something for every traveller with traditional markets, winter festivals, snow sports and unique cultural exhibitions all in full swing. Eurail Pass holders in search of warmer temperatures can still opt to head south towards the Mediterranean coastline or Greek Islands.
Customers who purchase a Eurail Global or Select Pass at the special reduced rate before 31 December, 2015 can travel in Europe up until 1 April 2016. Eurail Global Passes are valid for travel in 28 European countries and give international guests the freedom and flexibility to create their own journey. Eurail Select, Regional and One Country Passes provide options for travellers simply looking to explore between one and four Eurail participating countries in more depth.
