Viewers familiar with the stories will be able to recall the nostalgic stories as they watch the characters re-imagined and animated in 3D, and new viewers will get to know many colourful and vibrant characters. The kris itself is the anchor of the story, inspired by a real-life mysterious bladeless Malay dagger. Moreover, the film will feature two original songs performed by Malaysian songstress Ernie Zakri and Bruneian singer Fakrul Razi. The music videos of both songs have been uploaded to Les’ Copaque Production’s YouTube channel.
